Silver Sands Holiday Park offers you a choice of holiday homes, touring and camping emplacements in a mature parkland setting in Ruan Minor, Helston in Cornwall.

All our emplacements are spacious and separated by mature shrubs and trees. In our first field we have touring caravan and campervan emplacements with electric hook-ups and also have the fleet of holiday homes. The second field is exclusively reserved for tent camping. Some of these emplacements have an electric hook-up. All are situated around the outside of a triangular field with a play area in the middle. There is a further large field which is reached through the tent field and this is for the use of our guests.

Holiday Homes:

Silver Sands Holiday Park offers a mixture of holiday homes from deluxe holiday lodges to cosy holiday caravans. Some of these holiday homes are sited in emplacements bounded by mature trees and shrubs, with sufficient space to allow you to park a car alongside, while still ensuring that you have a high degree of privacy. Specific holiday caravans are reserved for use by our guests who wish to bring a pet.

Touring Caravans & Campervans:

Located at our main field, all of our touring emplacements have the availability of a 10 or 13 amp electric hook-up point and a dedicated water connection. Some of them also have grey water drainage to make your holiday a truly comfortable one.Each emplacement is bounded by trees and shrubs. These afford a degree of privacy without preventing you from meeting others, or excluding the Cornish sunshine.

Near the emplacements are extra freshwater supply points with a drain for water. Recycling and waste bins can be found at convenient locations around the park.

Tents:

Our camping field is exclusive, triangular in shape and adjacent to our main field. All of the emplacements are positioned around the edge of the triangular perimeter. They are large and bounded by trees and shrubs affording a degree of privacy. Some of these emplacements have access to an electric hook-up. The field has its own water supply and recycling facilities. In the centre of the field there is an area for ball games and a play area for under 14's.

The toilet, shower building and dish washing area are located centrally between the touring and camping fields and are shared by guests on all fields. The camping field has the benefit of small solar lights which while indicating the main route round the field will not interfere with the local colonies of bats and other wild-life and allow the badgers to continue on their nightly patrol. There is also a light near the water/wastewater point.

Our campsite offers a range of excellent facilities: little shop to provide essential supplies at reception, clean toilet block with free showers and free hot water, washing up area for campers with 4 stainless steel sinks and drainers, freezers & fridge for our guest's freezer blocks & basic cold items. There is also One public BBQ point at the top of our third field with picnic tables.
