Wringford Cottages offers a range of excellent self catering accommodation in the grounds of an old Cornish Manor House on the South coast of Cornwall. We are only a short stroll from the local villages of Kingsand and Cawsand and the beaches and cliffs at Whitsand Bay.

Our six properties are nestled around an old farmhouse and a heated indoor swimming pool is open between Easter until the end of October. The grounds are also home to 2 ponies and a few ducks.

Sharrow Bungalow: Sharrow Bungalow is a modern single-storey building, offering an L shaped lounge/kitchen/dining room and 5 good sized bedrooms. There is a king-size room, two double bedrooms, two bunk bedrooms and two bathrooms both of which have a power shower over bath. Outside the bungalow has a private garden with BBQ and picnic bench, adjacent parking and fantastic views across Cawsand Bay.

Wringford Cottage: Wringford Cottage is a modern two-storey building, offering lots of living space and 3 good sized bedrooms. Downstairs there is a double bedroom, and upstairs there are two twin-bedded rooms and a bathroom. There is a South facing conservatory on the cottage leading to a small private garden with BBQ and picnic table.

Maker Lodge: Maker Lodge is a pre-fabricated single-storey building, offering lots of living space and 3 bedrooms. There is a double room, a room with a single bed and a captain’s bed, a room with child-size bunk beds, and a bathroom. The layout of the lodge is unusual in that to get to bedroom 2 you have to go through either bedroom 1 or bedroom 3, for more privacy book the cottage. Outside the lodge has a BBQ and picnic bench, with views across the open countryside to Rame church.

Freathy Apartment: Freathy Apartment is part of a modern single-storey building, and has an L shaped lounge/kitchen/dining room, a good-sized bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed and full-size bunk beds, and the bathroom has a bath but no shower. Outside there is a small picnic area with a BBQ and bench with views towards Rame Head.

Forder Cottage: This charming cottage comes with a lounge/kitchen/dining room, a spacious bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet. The bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Wringford Manor: This wonderful old Cornish manor house has a spacious lounge/kitchen/dining room and 4 suites, all with en suite bedrooms. The well-equipped kitchen includes a range of appliances: gas cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, etc. French windows from the lounge open onto a delightful patio area with a picnic table and BBQ.

One of the great things about the Rame peninsula is that it offers the best of both worlds - you feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere, but Plymouth is just across the Tamar river offering everything you would expect from a big city - shopping, cinemas, galleries, restaurants, and nowhere in Cornwall is too far to visit in a day, the Eden project is less than an hour away, and even Land's End is only 85 miles away.
