Old Pear Tree Barn is a charming cottage, nestled in the beautiful Cornish countryside at Trebisken. Trebisken is a lovely hamlet, just a short drive from the golden beach at Holywell Bay and the popular surfing town of Newquay.

The barn has been restored to the highest of standards and offers comfortable and luxurious accommodation for up to 4 people. For most of its life, the barn was an integral part of a working farm. The farm was entirely self-sufficient and only had mains water & electric available in the early seventies.

When renovating the barn, we wanted to ensure we kept as much of its original features, charm and character, whilst providing a place with modern amenities. We have carefully considered everything that was put in the house to ensure we had a good balance of both old and new. We installed underfloor heating throughout and masses of insulation and so we managed to transform a damp, cold and derelict barn into a warm and comfortable, character home, fit for the twenty-first century. The kitchen links with the dining area to create a convivial living space, which overlooks the pretty courtyard and patio. Here you can enjoy the views of the lawned gardens and fields beyond.

Outside is a beautiful garden, with far reaching views across the valet. This large, private garden is perfect for those who bring pets or children. There is plenty of space to play and relax, as well as dining alfresco on the patio area. Fire up the BBQ for supper and savour the flavours and aromas of outdoor cooking. Enjoy your favourite holiday read undisturbed from the comfort of your recliner on one of the patios or grab a picnic rug and take a relaxing snooze on the lawn under the pear tree.
