The Old Chapel offers charming self catering accommodation in the quaint village of Halsetown. We are nestled in a rural location and within walking distance of St Ives, perfect for a tranquil holiday in Cornwall.

Our wonderful holiday home was originally a Methodist chapel and now offers high-quality accommodation. The property is beautifully furnished and sleeps up to 8 adults in 4 bedrooms.

A relaxing lounge/dining/cooking area will suit all your needs. The lounge area comes with a leather corner suite and armchair, a large flatscreen TV, DVD player, DAB radio, iPod dock/CD player and a PlayStation 2. This is a lovely space to unwind with friends or family after a day on the beach. A well-equipped kitchen has an electric double oven with a gas hob, a fridge freezer, washer-dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a food blender. Enjoy some delicious home-cooked meals around the oak dining table with seats up to 8 adults.

On the first floor, there is a twin and super-king/twin room. The latter comes with an en suite bathroom and this floor also has a family bathroom. On the second floor is a super king/twin en suite room and a king en suite room. All the rooms come with a flat-screen TV, radio alarm clock and a hair dryer.

Outside there is a garden with a lawn and paved patio area. There is a table and chairs for 8 people and a BBQ is provided, perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

Two dogs are welcome to stay at The Old Chapel together. We are able to loan small and medium dog crates if required, please see our website for further details.

Guests are able to use the facilities at the nearby Polmanter touring park including a heated outdoor swimming pool (late May-mid September).

The local area has so much to do and see for the whole family. St Ives has a total of 5 beaches. Porthminster Beach is great for young families and Carbis Bay is slightly further away and home to gorgeous white sands, cafes and a water sport centre. 10-15 minutes away is Paradise Park, a fantastic bird and wildlife sanctuary which children will love. We are also located near the St Michael's Way footpath which offers scenic coastal and countryside walks. Further attractions to visit include:
