Trevalgas Cottages offers a choice of five dog-friendly cottages in the charming village of Poughill, just Over a mile and a half to Bude’s sandy Blue flag beaches. We are perfect for a tranquil and relaxing holiday in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Our dog friendly and peaceful, small site boasts an indoor heated pool open all year, a children’s play area and private gardens.

Our cottages are part of a small cottage complex. All the cottages are tastefully furnished, well-equipped and include a private garden and patio for al fresco dining.

Onsite we have a range of excellent facilities for guests to use, including a heating indoor swimming pool, outside play area, games room and laundry facility. We can also help arrange food services, including groceries delivered to your door, ordering freshly cooked meals from a local caterer or a custom-made celebration cakes.

Blackberry Cottage: This wonderful ground-level cottage is ideal for a family or group looking for a countryside retreat. The cottage sleeps 4 in a double and twin room. A cot can also be provided. The bedrooms share a modern bathroom with a full-sized bath and electric shower over. The spacious open plan lounge/dining area is great for unwinding in and includes leather sofas, a wall-mounted 43’’ LCD TV with Freeview and a DVD player. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for home-cooking and include a ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. The cottage has a private rear garden with a BBQ and garden furniture. A spacious front terrace with a bench is ideal for savouring the stunning countryside views.

Briar Patch Cottage: This delightful modern cottage sleeps up to 6 people and a baby, great for a memorable getaway in a scenic location. Bedrooms consist of two double rooms and a twin room. The rooms share two bathrooms, a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a shower room with a large walk-in shower and a second WC. Relax in the open-plan sitting room/dining area which includes a 42’’ smart TV, DVD player and comfy seating. The fully equipped kitchen has a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. Outside there is a front terrace with a picnic bench and a spacious garden at the rear with a BBQ and garden furniture.

Chestnut Cottage: Spacious and open plan, Chestnut is the largest of our cottages and sleeps 6 plus travel cot. The cottage boasts a fully enclosed garden which acts are the perfect suntrap, whilst offering spectacular views over the valley to Stratton. A patio with garden furniture includes a brick-built BBQ. Bedrooms consist of a double en suite and 2 twin rooms. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath. A delightful open plan sitting/dining area has a toasty wood burner, smart TV with Freeview, DVD player and iPod/iPhone dock. The newly fitted kitchen is ideal for creating delicious dishes and includes a dishwasher and microwave.

Linhay Cottage: Our fabulous cottage is brimming with character and has been beautifully converted from an original farm building. The front patio area is a sun trap and includes a BBQ and patio furniture for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine. The large rear garden has direct access to the children’s playing field. Bedrooms consist of a double and twin room. Both rooms share a modern bathroom with an electric shower over the bath. A comfy sitting room has a smart TV and the separate dining area is perfect for enjoying some tasty home-cooked meals around. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances to suit all your needs.

Bramblewood Cottage: Toucked away in the corner of the small complex, the detached cottage sleeps up to 6 people and a baby. There are two double bedrooms rooms and a twin room. There are two bathrooms, a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a shower room with a large walk-in shower and a second WC. We are nestled between Bude and Stratton, near the Devon border, making us the perfect base for visiting a range of attractions in Cornwall and Devon. In Bude you can relax on one of its two beaches, Summerleaze and Crooklets. Both beaches are great for surfing and a variety of watersports. In the town there is a lovely mixture of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The area also has lots of activities to enjoy, such as tennis, squash, golfing, canoeing, windsurfing, rock climbing, mountain-biking, sailing, archery, ten pin bowling and fishing.
