Cardwen Farm Holiday Cottages offers outstanding self catering accommodation on Pelynt, nestled in 2.6 acres of glorious mature gardens with ponds and a stream. Based near Looe in Cornwall, we are perfect for a magical getaway in a beautiful location.

We have 4 luxurious cottages, all based on a private estate providing 11 bedrooms, perfect for booking together for large gatherings or for booking individually. All the properties have been tastefully renovated to a high standard to provide modern accommodation.

Cardwen Farmhouse – Sleeps 8: This fabulous 17th Century stone-built farmhouse is brimming with character and covered in stunning Wisteria. 4 wonderful bedrooms are available: 1 king en suite, 1 double en suite and two double rooms. Upstairs there is a spacious family bathroom and downstairs there is a boot room with a WC. On the ground floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen for home cooking: granite worktops, large stove, American fridge freezer and farmhouse dining table.

Socialise and unwind in the sitting room which boasts original stone walls, slate floors, comfortable seating and a 55” Smart Ultra HD TV with Sky and a gorgeous wood burner for the chillier months. A second room includes an open fire, TV and Sky mini.

Erin Cottage - Sleep 4: Our charming semi-detached barn conversion enjoys vaulted ceilings and stone walls. The stylish cottage has an open plan living area with comfortable seating and a smart TV on the upper floor. On the lower ground floor, there is a double and twin. Both rooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Hook Cottage – Sleeps 4: This fabulous barn conversion offers a majestic, vaulted ceiling in the master king room and the open plan living space. The living space has a toasty wood burner and a TV. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen and savour some delicious food around the dining table. Many of the windows offer delightful farmland views.

Lily Cottage – Sleeps 6: Our fantastic semi-detached barn conversion offers wonderful stone walls and a spacious living space with 3 large sofas facing the superb wood burning stove and smart TV with OWL TV (live linked to a camera in the Barn Owl Box in the roof). On the lower ground floor, there is a family bathroom, king bedroom, double en suite and double room. The west-facing patio is perfect for al fresco dining on a summer’s day.

We are surrounded by scenic farmland, where you will often see cows and sheep leaning over the fence line, watching over our free-range hens (free fresh eggs available daily). We also provide a locally baked cream tea in your cottage and some milk, the ideal way to start your holiday.

The quaint village of Pelynt is only 600 yards away, including the lovely Jubilee Inn, a 16th Century pub. In the village, there are 3 shops, with the Premier containing a butcher and the Spar containing a post office. The historic fishing village of Looe has a picturesque harbour to wander around, interesting shops, award-wining fish and chops and an array of independent art galleries. Great attractions to visit include:
