Tanglewood Caravan Park is a friendly, family-run park on the fringes of the Lake District National Park in Causewayhead. Located near Wigton in a lovely area of Cumbria, our quiet site is ideal for a laid-back holiday in beautiful surroundings.

We are a pet friendly site and welcome you to bring them along with you free of charge, after all, they deserve a holiday too, the only thing we do ask is that dogs are kept on a lead when out on site.

Onsite we have holiday homes that are fully serviced and have double glazing and central heating. The modern holiday homes offer spacious living and fully equipped for premium comfort. Inside there are large bedrooms, electric lighting, H&C water, toilet, shower, gas fire, cooker, microwave oven, fridge and TV. All gas and electric are included in the booking price.

We currently have static caravans on-site for hire. We also have pitches for touring caravans all with electric hookups and water/drainage facilities. We also have pitches for tents for all you campers out there. We have a clean shower and toilet facilities with underfloor heating and chemical toilet disposal facilities. We also have a fully equipped laundry.

We have a clubhouse with a fully licensed bar, offering a family atmosphere with occasional entertainment.

Our caravan park is surrounded by the natural beauty of the countryside so if you are energetic or more of a relaxing holidaymaker, there is something for everyone, long hikes or cycling or take in the natural beauty whilst sitting having a lovely picnic in the beautiful sunshine.

If you fancy a drive out, we are only a short drive away from the Lake District or maybe you fancy a day out to the very famous Gretna Green. These are just a couple of the many places to visit around and about.
