Potters Barn and Well Cottage are two self contained holiday cottages in West Cumbria within the Lake District National Park. They are part of Hardingill House, a seventeenth century farmhouse and working pottery, at the northern end of the village of Gosforth. Gosforth is the gateway to Wasdale and Eskdale and also stands at the western end of the Hardknott and Wrynose passes. It allows easy access to the whole of the western fells and lakes.

Potters Barn: Potters Barn self catering holiday flat offers 3 bedrooms for 6 people. There is a sitting/dining area that includes a TV and dining for 6. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, central heating and dishwasher. The three self catering bedrooms include a double, twin and a bunk bedded room. Potters Barn has its own sunny patio area where you can relax in the sun or enjoy a barbeque.

Well Cottage: This self catering holiday cottage provides accommodation for up to 5 people and can be let with Potters Barn. The sitting room is a sunny room with central heating, TV and DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob and oven, a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer. On the first floor of Well Cottage there are two bedrooms. A double room with an en suite bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet. The second bedroom has twin beds and its own washbasin and toilet. A bedroom for one person is on the ground floor which has access to a family bathroom with a bath. This would enable a person with limited mobility to have full access on the ground floor and into the garden. This cottage has a lovely sunny garden accessed from the sitting room with well-established flowers and trees. There is also a patio area for relaxing or having a barbeque.

We are located just a short walk to a children's park, shop, newsagents and a pub. Our Lake District location is ideal for walking, horse riding, golfing and fishing. We are close to many attractions including West Lakes, Beacon Museum, the Ravenglass Railway, Muncaster Castle and lots more.
