Avondale Bungalow offers charming self catering accommodation in the delightful village of Staveley, nestled within the Lake District National Park. Based near Kendal in a gorgeous Cumbrian location, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Our delightful bungalow is tastefully furnished and great for a peaceful getaway. The bungalow is beautifully furnished and well-equipped with a range of facilities.

Inside there is a large lounge with Freeview TV, Bluetooth and aux speaker, a bookcase, modern electric fire and seating. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the fully equipped kitchen that comes with an induction hob, electric fan oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Enjoy a home-cooked feast around the dining table.

Two lovely bedrooms are available, a double and a twin room. The second room can also be made as a king. Both rooms share a newly renovated bathroom which includes a shower over a bath, sink, toilet, towel rail and an illuminated mirror.

The outside back garden comes with a patio area with outdoor seating and a BBQ, offering a great spot for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. You can huddle around the fire pit in the evening whilst gazing at the starry night sky. A garage comes with a 3/4 sized table tennis table, bolts for securing bikes to the wall and hose pipe for rinsing bikes and dirty kit.

We are in a brilliant position for exploring the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the Morecambe Bay area. Staveley Station is around a 7-minute walk from us, while the National Cycle Route and the Dales Way footpath run through the village. Great attractions to visit include:
