Mill Farm Holiday Cottages, Barlow, Dronfield, Derbyshire
Mill Farm Holiday Cottages are a collection of 4 pet friendly holiday homes that are located on Mill Farm just outside of Barlow in Derbyshire. The holiday cottages are only a short drive from Dronfield where there are some interesting shops to explore. For those guests who are bringing their dog, we are located on the edge of the Peak District National Park where there are many spectacular walks that both you and your canine friend will enjoy.
All four holiday cottages at Mill Farm are fully equipped to a very high standard with all the usual necessities such as bed linen, televisions, cutlery etc. Cots, folding beds and high chairs are available on request. (Sorry, towels and cot linen are not provided). The farm cottages are heated by gas.
Kingfisher cottage and The Nook each comprise of lounge/dining kitchen with bed settee, bathroom and shower. Twin/double bedroom, television. Sleeps 2/3. The Nook is all on one level.
Cherry Tree cottage comprises of a lounge/dining kitchen. Bathroom and shower, double bedroom and the family unit. Freeview TV. Sleeps 5. The family unit is comprised of a single bed plus two bunk beds.
The Coach House comprises of lounge/dining kitchen. Bathroom and shower, double bedroom. Freeview television.
Barlow lies right on the eastern fringe of the Peak District National Park. Within easy reach is the spa town of Buxton and the market town of Bakewell, famous for the original Bakewell pudding. Nearby Castleton is surrounded by impressive scenery and a number of show caves. The region is well regarded by climbing enthusiasts and Stanage Edge, about six miles from Barlow, provides climbs for both beginners and experienced climbers. Not to be missed is Chatsworth House, which lies about 4 miles to the south of Barlow.
