Island Lodge is an AA five pennant, pet friendly touring site near Kingsbridge and Salcombe. Open all year, the two-acre site is surrounded by natural Devon hedgerows and is situated on a section of a privately owned eighteen acre unique 'dry island'. The 'island' is in a peaceful rural location, just one mile north of Kingsbridge, within the South Devon National Landscape.

The family owned touring site has easy access with hard standing pitches for caravans and motorhomes, all with electric hook-up (you will require your own lead), mains drinking water tap and grey drainage point. The site has well maintained grounds and also offers a limited number of grass pitches for small to medium sized tents. The site also offers seasonal pitches.

The purpose-built, on site amenities are modern, clean and well cared for. Separate facilities are available for ladies and gents, and all the showers and basins have free, constant hot water. The site also offers family washrooms and accessible facilities are available on request.

Amenities are also provided for dishwashing, again with free hot water. There are modern coin operated laundry facilities. Easy access chemical waste disposal point.

For those with younger children there is a play area with swings and space for soft ball games. The site is also pet friendly (maximum 2 dogs per pitch) and offers a doggie shower (free hot water) along with a small, private enclosed exercise area, there are also quiet country lanes for a longer stroll.

Island Lodge is ideally situated for exploring glorious South Devon. Walk the South West Coast path, relax on stunning beaches, visit historic towns such as Dartmouth or Totnes and of course the resort of Salcombe. The area has plenty of attractions and activities to suit all, along with some great dining options.
