Appledore Cottages offers charming self catering accommodation in the quaint village of Appledore, only 100 metres from the picturesque quay. We are close to Bideford and ideal for an idyllic coastal holiday in Devon.

Myrtle Cottage: Our delightful cottage is tastefully furnished and the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life. The cottage boasts a walled and gated garden to relax in and the driveway has parking for 3/4 cars.

The front door of the cottage leads into a porch and door through to the elegant dining with a toasty log burner in the inglenook fireplace. The large dining table is perfect for savouring some delicious home-cooked meals around. A comfy lounge has lots of comfortable seating, Freeview TV, a DVD player and a stereo. A spacious farmhouse kitchen is perfect for cooking up a storm in and includes a dishwasher. Downstairs there is also a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. An additional cloakroom is available as well.

On the first floor, there are 4 attractive bedrooms, plus a spacious bathroom. Bedrooms consist of 1 king room, 2 double rooms and a twin. Please note the twin room includes small child-size beds. The bathroom comes with a bathroom, WC and separate shower cubicle. The cottage can be combined with the Annexe to sleep further guests. Inside Gannets there are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 family room, as well as a kitchen, bathroom and living room.

Rose Cottage: Rose Cottage has 4 bedrooms. One four poster bedroom, one double and two twins. Downstairs, there is a farmhouse style kitchen with antique range. Fully equipped for all your needs with wash/dryer, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen leads through to a dining room, with table and chairs.

There is a large lounge with plenty of comfortable seating, large, widescreen TV, Sky, Video. Fabulous open fire place for cosy nights in! A supply of coal and logs is provided in colder months. There is a large and spacious bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and basin. The first floor features the two double bedrooms and there is also a separate WC and wash basin on the first floor. The second floor features the two twin bedrooms

Sea View Cottage: Our cottage has been tastefully refurbished to suit all your needs. Inside there is 1 king en suite, 1 twin and 1 double en suite. Downstairs there is a toilet.

The well-equipped kitchen/dining room leads to a lounge that offers Estuary views. Facilities include an electric log burner effect fire and flat screen TV.

Parking is available by the cottage for unloading and loading.

Appledore is very dog friendly all our beaches are dog friendly all year round as is our pubs and coffee shops etc. In Appledore, you can crab on the quay or enjoy live music at one of the several pubs. Most of the pubs serve fantastic fresh fish. The area has lots of gorgeous coastal walks and you can take a scenic fishing trip on one of the many boats which travel out each day.
