The Cottage Westward Ho! offers fabulous self catering accommodation in a glorious coastal setting. Our cottage in Westward Ho! boasts spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean and is within a short walk of the blue flag beach, village shops, bars and restaurants. We are close to Bideford and ideal for a magical getaway in Devon.

Our wonderful 3 story Victorian detached house has been recently refurbished and is great for families or groups looking for somewhere special to stay.

On the ground floor, there is a dining room with seating for up to 8 people. There is also an additional sofa. Unwind in the cosy sitting room which enjoys stunning coastal views. A multi-fuel burner will keep you warm in the winter months and facilities include Freeview TV, a DVD player, games and books. A well-equipped kitchen comes with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Downstairs there is also a utility room and shower room.

The first floor has two attractive bedrooms: a king en suite and a double room. On the first 2nd floor there are two further twin rooms. All bed linen and towels are included.

Outside there is a fully enclosed small garden with a terrace, garden furniture and a BBQ, great for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine.

We are based in a fantastic position, within walking distance of England’s oldest golf course, the southwest coastal path, dog friendly beaches and Northam Burrows. The area is great for walkers, surfers, paddle boarders and kite surfers. You can also visit the village of Appledore, home to cobbled streets and a scenic harbour. Bideford also offers boat trips to Lundy Island and is a great spot for watching the delightful puffins. Further attractions to visit include:
