Peartree Cottage in Northlew offers fantastic self catering accommodation, nestled in a tranquil rural setting on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, great for walking and cycling. We are close to Okehampton and perfect for an idyllic holiday in Devon.

Our outstanding cottage is attached to the owner’s country house and is set in 2 acres of beautiful grounds. The cottage sleeps 4 people and is great for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

Rustle up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen/dining area which has an array of appliances. A charming triple-aspect sitting room has a toasty toast wood-burning stove for the winter months, TV, comfy seating, CD player and a DVD player.

Two spacious bedrooms are on the first floor, a double and twin room. Both rooms are elegantly furnished and come with modern en suite facilities. Stunning garden, meadow and hill views can be savoured from each bedroom. Quality bed linen is provided. In the Old Cob Barn a separate laundry is also available.

A private patio and lawn comes with garden furniture including a parasol, chairs, recliners and barbecue, perfect for al fresco dining over a glass or two. A picturesque wildflower meadow and small copse can be accessed via the garden gate.

This part of the country has an abundance of stunning countryside to enjoy, great for walking and cycling. The coast is easily accessible by car, with the gorgeous beaches at Bude, Instow and Widemouth all worth a visit. Visit the fishing harbours at Boscastle or Port Isaac, with the latter the ‘home’ of the famous TV show Doc Martin. You can also visit Bodmin and Exmoor.
