Knowles offers charming self catering accommodation in Colyton, nestled in an elevated position in over an acre of wonderful gardens. Colyford is only a 2-minute drive away and Seaton is just a mile away, making us a great base for exploring Devon.

Our Victorian country house was originally built in 1890 and still maintains many original features whilst offering modern accommodation to suit all your needs. Most of the main rooms enjoy beautiful views over the countryside and gardens.

Unwind in the lounge after a busy day sightseeing. Facilities include a TV/DVD player, fireplace and bay window that enjoys garden views. A second snug/sitting room comes with a TV/DVD player and fireplace. You can also relax in the conversation that comes with seating and a door to the garden.

A well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room comes with an aga and electric cooker, table and chairs and leads to the scullery that houses the kitchen sink and kitchen units. A utility room has a fridge/freezer and separate freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and Victorian-style pulley clothes dryer. Savour some home-cooked meals in the dining room which comes with a serving hatch.

Bedrooms consist of 1 ground floor twin en suite, 2 king en suites, 1 double en suite, 1 single en suite and 2 twins. A family bathroom comes with a shower over bath and on the ground floor is a cloakroom with a WC.

Outside we have mature gardens and lawn areas to enjoy, including a croquet lawn, five aside football goal, golf practice net, a seating area around a pond, a greenhouse, a decked area and BBQ.

We in a brilliant location for exploring the area, home to shops, antiques, art galleries, a garden shop and inns serving real ales. Tennis courts are nearby and golf courses can be found in Lyme Regis, Honiton and Seaton. Only a 15-minute drive away is the coastal town of Lyme Regis. Excellent attractions to visit include:
