Blackaddie Country House Hotel is a pet friendly hotel set amongst beautiful scenery along the banks of the River Nith which is just on the outskirts of the Dumfries & Galloway town of Sanquhar. The hotel is a 16th Century house that offers comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation and delicious cuisine.

There are 6 guest bedrooms available and a River Suite. The rooms all include a flat screen TV, FREE Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, homemade shortbread, Scottish tablet, mineral water, DVDs, CDs, books and games.

Our food is far and above what one would normally expect. Ian, owner and chef, has held a Michelin Star for many years in his previous restaurants so you can imagine that the food here at Blackaddie Country House Hotel is going to be some of the best to be found in Scotland. Dinner is served in the dining room with its dual aspect views over the garden and the river beyond. Breakfast is served in the Breakfast Room, with its view down the river.
