Overdale Cottage offers magnificent self catering accommodation in Harome near Helmsley. Situated in a beautiful countryside location in North Yorkshire, we are the perfect place to escape to from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Our pet friendly cottage has been refurbished to a high standard with Laura Ashley and Wrendale furnishings. This property sleeps up to 4 people and is ideal for a family or group of friends.

The sitting room comes with a stone hearth and open fireplace, leather settee, Ekornes Stressless Voyage chairs, TV and DVD player. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind with friends or family. The country style kitchen comes with solid beech worktops. Excellent appliances include a dishwasher, washing machine, under counter fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, oven and electric hob. You can savour glorious views of the back garden from here. The dining room comes with an oak topped table and a two seater leather settee. Downstairs there is a WC and washbasin.

Upstairs there are two lovely bedrooms which boast views of the rolling countryside. There is a master bedroom with a king size bed and a cosy twin with two single beds. The family bathroom comes with a Grohe over bath shower.

Outside there is a spacious fenced garden. This is ideal for doggy dames and exercises. Patio furniture is provided. An ideal place for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

The cottage is well located for exploring the stunning Yorkshire moorlands and countryside to the North. It is a 40 minute drive to the historic city of York with its stunning Minster, a variety of beautiful shops and of course the famous Betty’s Tearooms, many cafes and shops.
