Village Farm offer charming self catering accommodation in Skipsea. Located in a lovely part of East Yorkshire, we are perfect for an unforgettable getaway.

We have two delightful properties available: The Old Tractor Shed and The Old Milking Parlour. Both properties are tastefully furnished with luxurious fabrics and come with a range of excellent facilities.

The Old Tractor Shed: This building was originally used as the tractor shed and has been beautifully converted to offer high quality accommodation. The property come with a well-equipped kitchen including an electric oven and hob, a fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine. The open plan living area comes with smart TV with Netflix and there also a wonderful king size bed with Egyptian cotton. Outside there is a decking area with a table and chairs, great for some al fresco dining in the evening sun.

The Old Milking Parlour: Our superb property offers a comfortable atmosphere with gorgeous fabrics throughout. The open plan kitchen/living area comes with a sofa bed and the super king bedroom comes with a dressing area. A bathroom includes a bath and separate shower. Facilities include an electric oven and hob, a fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine, Wi-Fi and a Smart TV with Netflix.

Situated along the B1249 the village is a typical rural setting surrounded by rich agricultural land. The village has its own Post Office and stores and The Board Inn Public House (conveniently opposite Village Farm).

Many of the houses in the village both new and old, use cobbles from the sea shore in both brickwork on the house exterior as well as for decorative purposes in brick walls around gardens etc. The village also retains its county primary school.

The church, dedicated to All Saints, is an ancient building built in stone and is the first building to appear as you approach from the West. There is also a Methodist chapel and a fine brown marble war memorial.

The beach at Skipsea sands is easily accessible from two points along the seashore. For those with the energy there are watersports, two indoor swimming pools, cycling routes, golf and plenty of circular and straight route walks all within a mile of the village.
