Lochranza offers award-winning self catering accommodation in Glenlivet, nestled within the Glenlivet Crown Estate and also the new Cairngorms National Park. Our cottage in Banffshire boasts fabulous views over the ruins of Blairfindy Castle and the surrounding countryside.

Our fully authentic distillery worker’s cottage is only yards from the renowned Glenlivet Whisky Distillery. This cottage has been refurbished to a high standard to offer quality accommodation. Downstairs there is a spacious living/dining room, a cosy wood-burning stove, satellite TV, DVD player and CD player. This is a lovely spot for relaxing in after a day sightseeing.

A well-equipped kitchen comes with a fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, microwave oven and a dishwasher. There is also a telephone available for incoming/emergency calls.

Upstairs there is a double room and a larger twin room. On the ground floor, there is a further twin room and a bathroom with a bath and shower.

Around 5 miles away in Ballindalloch you’ll find the nearest shops, whilst a delightful pub, The Poachers Retreat, is 2.9 miles away. We are set in a great location for discovering the Speyside ‘Malt Whisky Trail’, the Deeside ‘Castle Trail’ or the ‘Speyside Way’ long-distance walking route. Further attractions to visit include:
