Madeira In Fife in Pittenweem, Anstruther in Fife, provides glorious self catering accommodation in 6 charming cottages. Situated in beautiful countryside and a tranquil setting, we are the ideal spot to escape to from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Our dog friendly accommodation is great for families and groups looking for somewhere special to stay. The cottage can be booked together or separately.

Gardeners Cottage

The wonderful cottage sleep 6-9 people and is set within its own part of the garden. The cottage has 3 bedrooms – 2 super king sized double/twin rooms, one of which is en suite and a room with a triple bed i.e. a double with a single bunk above. There is a refurbished family bathroom with shower. The sofa in the sitting room is a comfortable king sized sofa bed. The kitchen area is well equipped and quite large, and the living area has a large table and chairs, comfortable sofas and a new wood burning stove. There is also a sunroom with seating to watch the sun go down or look at the wildlife in the garden and around the neighbouring stream.

Outside is a private patio area table chairs and BBQ, ideal for a spot of al fresco dining.

The Terraced Cottages:

There are five 1 bedroom cottages that sleep up to 4 people that form a pretty terrace. The cottages have either a shower room or bath/shower, a small but well equipped kitchen area and seating for 4 people. The bedroom can be made into a super king sized double or twin and there is a double sofa bed in all of the living rooms. The cottages share a covered patio area. There is a pretty garden in front which has a table and chairs and a BBQ should you want to dine al fresco.

The cottages all have quality bed linen and towels, super king sized beds (which can be as twins), wi-fi (free up to 1mb), flatscreen TV’s with Firestick, a library of books and films, and a starter pack of essentials such as washing liquid, hand soap, and toilet rolls/bin bags.

Pittenweem is very pretty and has a working harbour, butcher, baker, Post Office, pharmacy, general store, fish and chip shop and a gem of a cafe. It is one of the villages that form a string along the coast called the East Neuk of Fife. The Fife Coastal path links the villages and is a very popular walk.
