Cuckoo’s Nest is a family-owned holiday home located in the popular Lower Mill Estate. We are set in a beautiful 550-acre nature reserve and are ideal for a bit of tranquillity and relaxation with family or friends.
Cuckoos Nest is a luxury, glass-fronted, lake-side house. The house consists of four bedrooms, three bathrooms and sleeps up to eight people, although a travel cot will fit in each of the double bedrooms as well. You can savour stunning views in all directions. We welcome pets and ask that the property is treated respectfully, but sorry, no smoking indoors. Linen, towels and utilities are included. And for that perfect chance to unwind, all guests have full access to the exclusive world-class Artspa.
On the first floor is the wonderful living area which comes with a wood burner, comfy seating and enjoys stunning views. On the ground floor, there are 3 bedrooms and an en suite bathroom and a family room. The second floor has a master bedroom with en suite facilities which look over the living area.
The Artspa is just a few minutes stroll from Cuckoos Nest and is the ultimate indulgence for guests staying at the house. The Spa is a place for relaxation and exercise and is exclusive to residents.
Unlimited use of the Artspa is included in the cost of your holiday for every person. The complimentary use covers the indoor, outdoor heated and outdoor eco swimming pools, steam room, sauna and state-of-the-art gymnasium.
Cuckoos Nest is set within the Lower Mill Estate, which has been developed to provide peace and tranquillity from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life. When you walk out of your door you find yourself in the middle of a 450-acre nature reserve with lots to explore and enjoy. Onsite there is a playground, pets’ corner and full-size tennis courts.
Although there is plenty to entertain you on your door step, should you venture outside, the charm of the Cotswolds awaits. Cirencester is a historic Roman town in the heart of the Cotswolds with attractions from a Roman Amphitheatre to the nearby Chedworth Roman Villa. The Corinium Museum in an important source of information on the local history. Cirencester has many fine examples of historic mosaics, including one which can be found near the Brewery Arts Centre in the heart of Cirencester.
