Lamb Inn, Great Rissington, Cheltenham, Gloucester
The Lamb Inn is an attractively rambling building of mellow Cotswold stone, some parts are over 300 years old, with a sunny garden.
Under the care and attention of Paul and Jacqueline Gabriel and their team, it is a thriving village pub as well as a haven of comfort, great food and rural peace and quiet!
The restaurant is furnished in a comfortable country style, attractive for lunches, candle lit and romantic for the evening.
With fresh flowers in summer and a lovely real log burner in the winter, the restaurant also displays a collection of antique and incomprehensible rustic implements.
Savour the best of local produce for a real taste of The Cotswolds! From traditional Sunday roasts to luscious dishes of local game or fish, we always source local produce where ever possible.
The Lamb Inn’s bar has a fantastic Country Pub atmosphere where dogs are most welcome. There is a good local crowd and the bar is a great place to relax, have a pint of one of the many Real Ales available and while away an hour…or two! Dogs are welcome in the bar and are offered complimentary treats! The full restaurant menu is available in the bar.
The Staff and locals are often seen giving residents and passing tourists advice on where to go and what they should see, usually much better information than can be gained from any Cotswold tourist guide!
Paul takes particular care with the Wine list. House wines are of an exceptionally high standard and the selection includes wines from the world’s most adventurous producers. The idea is for you to find a wine that truly adds to the pleasure of your meal.
The Lamb Inn boasts 13 ensuite rooms including four suites inside the main pub, two secluded garden suites set in the peace and quite of our garden, five en-suite rooms inside of The Lamb and two stable rooms.
