It is set in its own grounds of 10 acres, surrounded by farmland and woodland with direct access to the Forest. It is a scenic, tranquil location accessed from a single track road but surprisingly centrally located for exploring the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas. Whether your holiday is action packed or simply a chance to unwind, relax and enjoy the hot tub in the garden.
There is a very good pub within 5 minutes walk, a shop/post office and takeaway 0.4 miles away and the nearest town with all amenities is Coleford, 2 miles away.
The Acorns provides an ideal base for walking and cycling, with many tracks accessible from the door and a drop off/pick up service offered. Other outdoor activities nearby include canoeing, riding, caving, fishing and golf. Local attractions such as Puzzlewood, Perrygrove, Clearwell Caves, Go Ape, Symonds Yat, Dean Heritage Museum to name but a few are all within 5 miles.
