The Old Farmhouse in Tyddyn Du offers outstanding guest house accommodation in our beautifully renovated property. Our old farmhouse in Gwynedd is perched 350 feet above sea level and boasts amazing views over Cardigan Bay to the Llyn Peninsular. We are also in the ideal location for exploring Snowdonia and a range of brilliant attractions.

Our gorgeous farmhouse is set in a peaceful location and adjacent to a delightful stream, great for a relaxing getaway. We have two elegant dog friendly rooms available, Rhiannon and Seren. These two garden rooms offer picturesque views over Cardigan Bay and the Llyn Peninsula. All the rooms include excellent facilities including flat-screen TVs with built-in Freeview and DVD players, plus tea/coffee making facilities.

Rhiannon: This wonderful room is spacious and includes an en suite with a shower over the bath, a super king-size bed, a single bed and space for a folding bed.

Seren: Our charming garden room includes an en suite with a shower over the bath, a king-size bed and a settee.

In the morning we offer a hearty breakfast to set you up for a day of sightseeing.

You are welcome to relax and unwind in our fabulous gardens. We also have a glorious swimming pool to take a dip in. You can also soak away your troubles in the luxurious hot tub. Both are open between April and September.

We are in a brilliant location for discovering all that the area has to offer. This part of Snowdonia has over 5 miles of one of Britain’s few Blue Flag beaches. You can also visit majestic castles and a range of attractions including slate mines, little trains of Wales, Portmeirion and lots of scenic walks. Superb attractions to visit include:
