Longwood Cottage is a wonderfully comfortable single-storey cottage set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are perfect for a relaxing and peaceful holiday in Helston, Cornwall.

Originally converted from a single storey barn, Longwood Cottage enjoys a delightful country setting with spectacular views in all directions.

There is a large sitting room which is well furnished with a sofa, three comfortable chairs, several occasional tables, a television, DVD player and small music system. This room has a "log effect" electric fire for cooler evenings. This light and airy room opens out on to the sun deck and has magnificent views over the surrounding countryside.

A dining area comes with a table and four chairs, matching wooden cabinet and a bureau packed with local tourist information. The sunny kitchen has recently been refitted and has a gas cooker, fridge and microwave. There are two bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a double. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage space, as well as windows facing in both directions. There is a cloakroom with a toilet and wash hand basin, as well as a full bathroom with an electric shower set above the bath. This is truly a loo with a view!

Set in a total of thirty acres, with the owner's home a little way to the rear of the property, the cottage enjoys the most idyllic rural location. Views stretch in all directions. Long Wood itself is at the end of the drive and offers peaceful walks amongst its combination of conifers and ancient woodland.
