Hall Farm Bed & Breakfast and Self Catering offers quiet, self catering accommodation in two annexes adjoined to the main house. This 500 acre working family farm is on the edge of the pretty hilltop village of Great Chishill, the highest point in Hertfordshire. It is on the B1039 midway between Royston and Saffron Walden.
The annexes can be hired together or separately and each one can sleep 2 people. An extra child bed can be put into an annexe if required. All the accommodation is on the ground floor and we can offer some disabled facilities by arrangement, please enquire first for exact details.
There is plenty to see and do in the area. There are lots of footpaths from the house and the village pub (just 5 minutes walk) serves excellent food and the natives are very friendly! We recommend reserving a table in advance. There are other good pubs and restaurants within easy driving distance.
We are ideally situated for Cambridge, Duxford Air Museum. High tec. establishments of Welcome Trust Genome Campus, Melbourn Science Park, and Granta Park, Abington are nearby, and Stansted Airport is 30 minutes away. Wimpole Hall and farm, and Audley End House, together with the old market town of Saffron Walden are delightful places to visit.
