West Gorton near Grantown-On-Spey offers charming self catering accommodation, based in a glorious countryside setting. Our cottage in Inverness-shire is nestled in a secluded setting down a private road, surrounded by spectacular woodland and open moorland.

We have a haven for outdoor lovers looking to escape the pressures of modern life. We boast amazing views over the adjoining Cairngorm Mountains and down the Spey Valley. The cottage is tastefully furnished and great for a tranquil getaway.

On the ground floor is a cosy open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area. The kitchen is well-equipped for home-cooking and the living area has a sofa bed. A downstairs WC is also available.

Upstairs there is a double and twin room, both perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Both rooms share a bathroom.

Outside there is an enclosed garden with furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining when the sun shining.

Excellent facilities include: Linen and towels, Oil central heating, Open Fire - fuel provided, Electric oven and microwave, Fridge, Small Freezer, Washing machine, Freeview TV, Pay as you go internet, DVD player, Mobile reception and a High Chair and Cot on request.

We offer easy access to scenic riverside walks. The popular town of Grantown-On-Spey has a wonderful golf course and one free round is available for visitors of the cottage. The Craggan Outdoors Centre offers lots of fantastic activities, including archery, abseiling, high ropes, kayaking, mini quads and mountain bike hire. You can also discover the Highlands and Whisky Trails or hike the renowned Cairngorm Mountains.
