Barabhaig Cottage on the Isle of Skye offers wonderful self catering accommodation for up to six people with two dogs. Located on the Sleat peninsula in the south of Skye, the cottage sits at the end of a single track road on the shores of Camuscross Bay - a breathtakingly beautiful spot, perfect for a truly magical getaway. We are only a 20-minute drive south of the Skye Bridge, a 15-minute drive north of Armadale and close to Isle Ornsay.

The charming, detached stone cottage is an ideal base to explore the area. Wildlife is abundant - red deer, sea eagles, otter - a real paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. A gate leads from the garden onto the shore where you can while away the hours exploring rockpools or taking in the stunning views.

Barabhaig Cottage has been beautifully restored and modernised to offer quality accommodation: downstairs there is a cosy sitting room with an open fire and satellite TV/DVD, and a well-equipped kitchen/dining room has a split-level cooker, hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and microwave. There is also a twin room and a wet room with a shower, WC and washbasin.

Upstairs there is a further twin and a double room. Both rooms share a bathroom with a bath/shower, WC and wash basin. All bed linen and towels are included and a cot can be provided.

WiFi, electricity and a starter pack for the fire are included.

There's plenty to do: Hotel Eilean Iarmain is just a mile along the coast and hosts regular evenings of traditional music. It stocks it's own award-winning Gaelic Whiskies and Gaelic Gins. The hotel sits on the waterfront and has outdoor seating by the old stone pier.
