The Guest House is situated in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire. Our guest house is in a perfect location for those who are looking for a relaxing break away and we are ideal for walkers who want to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park.

All our guest rooms are en suite and have been refurbished to a high standard. We offer a choice of double and twin rooms. We also have a large twin en suite room available which has room for a travel cot or our own blow up bed. The rooms are comfortable, relaxing and include dressing gowns, hair dryers, shower caps and alarm clocks. We also have a guest’s library with a variety of books available for you to enjoy during your stay. If you have forgotten anything we are more than happy to help where possible, laundry facilities are also available at a small cost but the iron is available to everyone for free. We pride ourselves on our breakfasts and you will find that nothing is too much trouble, vegetarian and halal food is provided on request, when booking it would help us if you notified us of any dietary requirements. Why not try our creamy smoked salmon omelette or our cream cheese and smoked salmon folded into our home laid chicken egg omelette. We also serve vegetarian frittata, asparagus and tomato omelette or our crustless seafood quiche, crab, prawn and spring onions baked in eggs and cream

Guests are also welcome to relax in the resident’s lounge where there is Sky TV, DVD player, Wii machine and games. For the young and old there is an Xbox, puzzles, dominoes and cards.

At the rear of the property there is a completely secure parking area for six cars and umpteen bikes, this also incorporates our ‘pets corner’. We have our own chickens and ducks hence the very, very fresh eggs, the greenhouse provides us with ample tomatoes in the summer. We also have two pet pot bellied pigs, Bramley and Braeburn, our own disposal units who fertilise our hundreds of pot plants, nothing wasted here!!!

Our guest house has to be a biker’s paradise because all bikes are so safely stored in our virtually impenetrable car park and as for walkers, well, we are so used to drying off muddy boots and soaking clothes it is practically my hobby! We have numerous birds in the aviaries, pet rabbits and guinea pigs and our two precious tortoises, a joy for children and adults alike.
