Parc Bryn Bach is a local nature reserve and a hidden gem in Tredegar. It’s conveniently situation just off the A465 and boasts 340 acres of parkland with a 36-acre lake as its focal point.
Parc Bryn Bach has a host of activities and facilities for you and your family to enjoy. These include:
A children’s play area.
Café with outside seating.
On-water activities such as stand-up paddleboarding, open water swimming, canoeing, kayaking, tiki boarding and fishing (please refer to our website for T&Cs).
Off-water activities including The Cave, go-karts, mini-golf, mountain bike hire, foot golf and a climbing wall.
For golf enthusiasts, there is a driving range and 9-hole golf course.
As a local nature reserve, Parc Bryn Bach celebrates biodiversity and works hard to maintain the extensive parkland. We have recently developed a sensory garden which is perfect to sit and relax and watch the local wildlife. There are also several nature trails for you and the family to enjoy.
We are finagling the building of our Wellbeing Workhub – a place where you can take time out and catch up on essential emails or work if you need to. The Wellbeing Workhub is due to open mid-August 2022.
Our Lake View café is open 9.30-17.00 daily. The café serves a range of refreshments and snacks, as well as a licenced bar and we have an outside kiosk serving ice creams, cold drinks, and snacks on the weekends and later in the day, Tuesday-Friday. Our visitor centre is also open daily and houses a souvenir shop and tourist information point.
Our 3-star graded 17 pitch caravan/motorhome site is open from July - September.
Onsite camping facilities include:
Chemical Waste Disposal Point.
Free Wi-Fi at the visitor centre.
