The Eastbank Hotel is a pet friendly hotel located in the town of Rothes which is only 10 miles from Elgin in the county of Morayshire. The hotel was built in 1793 and now provides comfortable accommodation, outstanding cuisine and fitness facilities.
All comfortably furnished bedrooms are equipped with tea/coffee makers, television and there are ample bathroom/shower facilities available. In addition, guests can choose to stay in our annexe flat. The hotels attractive lounge bar provides an excellent selection of local malt whiskies, and offers an extensive food menu available daily. But it is the superb Speyside Restaurant which has captured the hearts of the Eastbank's clientele, with its intimate atmosphere and outstanding cuisine, its use of fine locally caught salmon and the best meat in Britain, has already earned it an enviable reputation from both locals and visitors alike.
The pet friendly hotels fitness centre and sauna is open to non residents which has a full variable weight multi gym in Area 1, strength suite and fully programmable:- tread mill, arc trainer and bike in area 2 cardio suite.
The hotel is situated a 5 minute walk from the river Spey, which attracts many anglers, walkers and nature enthusiasts. Rothes also has the remains of a castle, which was built in the 11th century. When the castle was demolished, the stone was used to build many of the buildings you can see in Rothes, including the hotel. There is also a golf course, within walking distance of the hotel. Four distilleries are located in Rothes; Glen Grant has a visitorís centre and gardens to visit. Glenrothes produces excellent single malt.
