Old Duffus Farmhouse is one of 4 beautiful rural holiday cottages on family run Duffus Estate. It provides a spacious, yet homely atmosphere, perfect for families or other larger groups. Surrounded by fields and with stunning view of the impressive ruins of Duffus Castle, the property is the ideal place to retreat and relax. Just imagine a stroll through the castle ruins as the sun sets over fields of golden barley or a balmy evening BBQ with a killer castle view!

Old Duffus sleeps 8 - please note both bathrooms are on the ground floor making it easier for those with more restricted mobility.

Duffus village has a Post Office and play park, whilst Elgin boasts some great independent shops, for example, Gordon McPhail - the local whisky and deli emporium. The surrounding area is packed with things to do. Old Duffus is only 5 minutes from the gorgeously unspoilt sandy beaches of the Moray coast (famously voted in the top 12 in the world by National Geographic) with its miles of golden sandy beaches, cliff top trails, caves, sea stacks and dolphin spotting. A short drive brings you to the Speyside whisky trail and numerous historic attractions such as Spynie Palace and Brodie Castle. The area is also famed for its golf and is also great for road biking as well as boasting loads of options for those who prefer mountain biking. You can be as relaxed or as active as you like!
