9 Woodpark in Grantown-on-Spey, offers charming self-catering accommodation in a semi-detached bungalow. It is within walking distance of all the shops and amenities in this traditional Highland town in the Cairngorm National Park.

Fully furnished, the property comes with an array of facilities to suit all your needs. The cosy lounge has comfortable seating, an open fire, TV, DVD and video players, and an electric storage heater. The kitchen/diner is great for home-cooking and includes an electric cooker, cooker-hood, slow cooker, microwave, fridge and automatic washing machine. The dining table seats 4.

Two attractive bedrooms are available: a double and a twin. All linen is included but guests are asked to bring their own personal towels. Both rooms share a bathroom which includes a heated towel rail and a shower over the bath.

Outside in the fully enclosed garden, there is a patio area with table and chairs for al fresco dining in the early evening sun and you can regularly see an abundance of wildlife, including red squirrels. There is ample parking for two cars.

The town's attractive Square and High Street, has a wide choice of shops, as well as cafes, bars and restaurants offering a broad range of meals, drinks and snacks to suit all tastes and pockets.

Nearby is the River Spey, renowned for its salmon and trout fishing, and the ancient woodlands surrounding the town offer a unique habitat for a wide variety of wildlife. They also have some of the finest low-level walks in the Highlands suitable for all abilities. All the routes are clearly marked providing walks from 1-4 hours. Other walks and trails around the town offer wonderful views over the surrounding hills and mountains.

Nearly by is the Malt Whisky Trail, the only trail of its kind in the world, and whether you are looking for an adventure, fun for the whole family or just a break from the everyday- the Cairngorms National Park offers a variety of fantastic attractions for days out. Braemar, Inverness, Loch Ness and the beaches of the Inner Moray Firth are easily accessible by car.

Grantown also has a variety of sporting facilities including an 18-hole golf course, sports hall, 8 tennis courts, an outdoor bowling green and mountain bike hire.
