Vine House is our pet friendly holiday home, nestled in the Chet Valley at Bergh Apton in Norfolk. This beautiful house has been recently refurbished, providing comfortable, homely and well-appointed accommodation for up to 6 people.

The holiday home enjoys gorgeous, uninterrupted views across our vineyard and is an ideal holiday destination for anyone with an interest in wine and all things oenological. Our accommodation comprises of:

Vineyard tours and wine tasting is available. This very popular tour has limited places and so must be booked in advance. It is personally led by the owner and winemaker John Hemmant who was one of the first to plant a vineyard in Norfolk and produce award winning wines back in the 1990s. With his background in chemistry, farming and the arts he will inspire you with stories of his experiences making wine in Norfolk and his knowledge from his studies and travels to wine regions abroad both in the New and Old worlds. This fantastic tour includes a taste of up to 5 delicious wines both still and sparkling from Chet Vineyard accompanied by tasty local cheese and charcuterie.

Bergh Apton is a lovely village, just 7 miles from Norwich. It is a fantastic base for those who are looking to explore Norfolk. The area is home to a wealth of attractions and places of interest that all ages can enjoy, including plenty of walks that you and your canine companions will love.
