Whispering Reeds Cottage in Horning offers unique self catering accommodation on the River Bure, nestled in Norfolk Broads National Park. Our cottage is perfect for a truly unforgettable holiday in an amazing riverside setting.

Our luxurious property is great for families and couples looking for somewhere truly special to stay and is set on a river tributary linking to the River Bure. The property is finished to the highest standards and we even offer canoe and boat hire for an additional price to complete a magical stay.

Inside the property is a lovely open living space to unwind in. The cosy living area comes with a toasty wood burner, Smart TV, Blu-ray player, Wii, Xbox and sliding glass doors leading to the garden. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, American fridge/freezer with icemaker, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, Fruit Ninja, slow cooker and Amazon Echo. Enjoy some delicious meals around the dining table which seats 6 people. On the ground floor there is also a shower room.

The first floor has 3 attractive bedrooms. Bedroom 1 comes with a king-size ottoman bed, smart TV and sliding glass doors leading to a glass balcony. Bedroom 2 and 3 both come with double ottoman beds and a smart TV. A shower room is also available.

You can make the most of our wonderful location by enjoying our superb outdoor facilities. The large enclosed lawned area includes two illuminated decks, an outdoor kitchen, fit pit and gas BBQ. You can also soak away your troubles in the fabulous hot tub or relax on the glass balcony which has outdoor furniture and patio heaters, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine on whilst savouring the view.

Horning is a gorgeous Broadland village with brilliant restaurants, riverside inns, shops and quaint tea rooms, all just a 10-minute walk away. The marina and leisure club is great for enjoying water sports and the area has lots of scenic walking and cycling routes. The whole family can enjoy BeWILDerwood, an outdoor treetop adventure park, or the Dinosaur Park at Lenwade. Further attractions to visit include:
