Poppyland Holiday Cottages in Wickmere offers award-winning self catering accommodation. Based in a lovely area of Norfolk, our cottages are just 10 miles from the north Norfolk coast.

Our two charming cottages, Swallow Cottage 1 and Swallow Cottage 2, are beautifully furnished and come well-equipped to suit all your needs, perfect for families or groups.

Swallow Cottage 1:

This delightful cottage comes with cosy living room with a lovely inglenook fireplace and toasty log burner, plus a TV and DVD player. Rustle up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen/diner that comes with a range of appliances: oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher & an automatic washer/dryer, plus exposed beams and a stone pammented floor.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a master room with a Victorian-style iron bedstead and a twin room that can be made as a king. Both rooms share a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower. A further WC is downstairs. Outside there is a garden with garden furniture for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

Swallow Cottage 2:

Our fantastic cottage comes with a beamed kitchen/diner with a range of appliances for home-cooking: oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher & an automatic washer/dryer. Unwind in the living room which comes with an inglenook fireplace and wood burner rodeloent for those chilly days. Watch your favourite show on the TV/DVD player.

Upstairs there is a master room with a king half-tester bed, plus a twin room. The rooms share a family sized bathroom with a shower/bath. Outside there is garden furniture and a lush green lawn that offers wonderful meadow views.

The scenic hamlet of Wickmere has lots of tranquil countryside walks to enjoy, dotted around woods and farmland. The hamlet is close to the old seaside town of Cromer, around 7.5 miles away. You can also visit Sheringham and Blakeney. Great attractions to visit include:
