Nanny End Cottage in Askrigg offers charming self catering accommodation in a stone-built two-bedroom character cottage, set in the majestic Yorkshire Dales National Park. We are in the ideal location for exploring a range of attractions in North Yorkshire.

Our delightful stone-built cottage is tastefully furnished and comes with a range of facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Please note, we accept up to two pets, with wonderful dog friendly walks right on our doorstep.

On the ground floor, there is a relaxing lounge with two comfortable sofas, smart TV with Freeview and BT Vision, a coffee table, side tables, bookcase with a variety of books and games and a woodburning stove in a feature stone hearth for the chillier months. Rustle up some delicious food in the well-equipped kitchen/diner which has an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, dining table and chairs, bench and a door to garden.

The first floor has a king en suite and twin room. Additionally, there is a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. Both bedrooms boast glorious views towards the village and Dale beyond.

Outside there is a terraced patio to the rear and a small patio to the front. Both spots are great for a morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine in the sun.

The quaint village of Askrigg has a renowned church and lovely cobbled central square to wander around. The village also has great pubs, fabulous tea rooms, a hotel and deli. Attractions to visit further afield include:
