Ridge Hall Cottages offers superb self catering accommodation near charming Staithes, set deep in the heart of the gorgeous North Yorkshire Moors National Park. We are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Our 4 beautifully furnished cottages have been meticulously converted from a small group of barns to provide quality accommodation. All the cottages boast stunning views of views of Borrowby Edge, Roxby and eastward to the sea and Staithes Valley.

Oak Barn: This wonderful cottage sleeps up to 6 people and is great for a magical break in the country. The cottage also has full disabled access on the ground floor, including a wet room which has been fully adapted for wheelchairs users. Inside there is a cosy lounge with a 37″ LCD television, DVD and video, with doors opening onto the patio area. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen which has a range of appliances including a Smeg electric hob and oven, Smeg fridge/freezer, washer drier and dishwasher. Upstairs there is a twin en suite and a super king double room with a lavish bathroom en suite. Downstairs there is a further twin room.

Acorn Cottage: Our delightful cottage sleeps to 2 people and is ideal for a romantic getaway. Inside there is a lovely bed loft with a comfortable double bed and a relaxing living room with a wood burner, comfy sofas, LCD TV, video, DVD (recordable), Freeview and radio.

Willow Barn: This fabulous cottage sleeps up to 6 people is great for a group looking for somewhere special to stay. The cottage has full disabled access on the ground floor, with the ground floor bedroom having a wet room which is suitable for wheelchair users. After a day of sightseeing, relax in the lounge which has a 37″ LCD television, DVD and video, with doors opening onto the garden. Cook up a storm the well-equipped kitchen which has a Smeg electric hob and oven, Smeg fridge/freezer, washer drier and dishwasher. Upstairs there is a twin en suite room and a super king double room with a luxury bathroom en suite, with a further double room downstairs.

Catkin Cottage: Our fantastic cottage sleeps 2 in a bed loft with a double bed, great for a spontaneous romantic holiday in a scenic location. Facilities include a living room with a wood burner, e, squashy sofas and LCD TV, video, DVD (recordable), Freeview and radio. Outside there is a small outdoor terrace with a table and chairs, great for al fresco dining whilst admiring the glorious views.

All our cottages include an information pack and use of a conservatory/games room with a snooker table. All the gardens are accessible for dogs but no excrement in the garden. You can also enjoy the 3-acre field just 20 yards from the gardens, great for picnics and football etc.

Staithes is a picturesque fishing village with a splendid cobbled high street dotted with cottages, houses, chapels and narrow alley. You can enjoy the amazing clifftop walking routes and enjoy the outstanding views, or venture to the two pretty coastal villages of Runswick Bay and Sandsend, both home to wide sandy beaches, cafes and pubs.
