Private onsite parking. Private garden with views of the hills. Linen, towels, fuel & oil central heating inclusive. Well behaved pets by arrangement. Bunkhouse: The Bunkhouse at Chatton Park near Alnwick is a farm conversion providing cheap accommodation in North Northumberland. With two high quality wet rooms it provides an excellent standard of bunkhouse accommodation at low cost. Sleeping 12 in total, the Bunkhouse is perfect for small groups, families or individuals. There are 2 bedrooms each with 6 beds. The living area has a well equipped kitchen & seating around the original forge. Full central heating makes it cosy all year round. 2 private wet rooms with showers, sinks & toilets.
Washing/drying areas. Secure storage can be provided, there is ample parking & room to camp if you want to be closer to nature. DIY livery & dog kennels on request. We provide flexible booking arrangements. The whole Bunkhouse can be booked, one bunk room or a single bed depending on need. Length of stay can also vary of course. Comfortable, low cost accommodation from which to experience the delights of rural North Northumberland.
The unique Chillingham Wild Cattle roam the hills visible from the cottage and the castle is a brisk walk away. Many more castles are within easy reach, and the Scottish Borders are just 12 miles away. Our Heritage coastline boasts vast empty beaches, castles and amazing bird watching opportunities all within 8 miles. The Northumberland National Park, just 5 miles away provides vast areas of walking and cycling in the heather clad Cheviot Hills. The area also provides opportunities for fishing cycling and climbing.
