Hope & Anchor is located within the Northumbrian Coast AONB, just a short drive from Alnwick at Alnmouth. Our dog friendly accommodation is a great base from which to explore Northumberland, as we are within either walking or driving distance of many fantastic locations and places of interest. As well as offering accommodation, the Hope & Anchor also has a bar and restaurant, which are open to both residents and non-residents.

Guests have a choice of 8 rooms, all of which have been decorated and furnished to a high standard. Whether you are in the area as a solo traveller and his dog or a couple of friends, we look forward to welcoming you and your furry companions. Our hotel rooms comprise of:

En suite facilities, complimentary toiletries and a beverage tray with tea and coffee are provided within each room.

Breakfast is included within the room rate and is freshly prepared each morning. This is served in our restaurant dining room. Please advise when booking if you have any special dietary requirements. During the day and into the evening, our restaurant is open to all, serving a contemporary blend of Italian and seafood cuisine. Where possible we use locally sourced ingredients and have a specials menu that includes the “catch of the day”.

After dining with us, why not enjoy a drink from our well-stocked bar. We offer a hand-picked exclusive range of wines, locally sourced real ales (Newcastle Breweries), and a range of draughts including world-renowned Peroni. Our recently refurbished bar area allows for a comfortable and relaxed base to enjoy a drink after a long day of being on holiday.
