Kielder Campsite in Kielder is a 3-star site nestled in a tranquil part of Northumberland. We have pitches for campers, camper vans, motorhomes and touring caravans, ideal for an enchanting stay in the atmospheric wilderness.

Nestled in the heart of Kielder Forest, we are a great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. We are dark sky friendly and have lots of lovely space to unwind in. Please note, we have no mobile signal, great for a digital detox.

We offer pitches for camping, motorhomes and touring caravans, four pods and two static caravans. (Pods sleep up to three adults or a family with two adults and children. Our statics have two bedrooms each: a twin and a double). All motor homes and touring caravan pitches are pitched on hard stands with room around most for awnings.

You can make the most of our wonderful location, with an abundance of scenic walks and cycle rides to enjoy, plus miles of dog walking routes. We also located in the amazing Dark Sky Park. On a clear night, you can see the majestic starry night sky. The renowned Kielder Observatory is just on a hill near the site and definitely worth a visit.

Kielder has lots to do and see for the whole family, from fantastic walking trails to great attractions. The Kielder Water and Forest Park has an art and architecture trail that follows the 26-mile walking and cycling route around the reservoir. You can even hire an electric bike from the village to enjoy the tour. Visit the majestic Hermitage Castle or the Grade I Listed Alnwick Castle.
