Midhouse is a dog friendly self catering house located on an 80 acre working farm. It has views over Boardhouse Loch and is within the parish of Birsay. This is the ancient capital of Orkney and provides a great base for exploring the beautiful beaches and attractions.

The house can accommodate 6 people in 3 super king size bedrooms which can be used as twin rooms. There is an open plan kitchen/diner which comes well equipped with a:

Washing machine.

Dishwasher.

Tumble dryer.

Fridge/freezer.

Microwave.

The living room has an open fire, Wi-Fi and TV. There is also a first floor sun lounge which overlooks the Loch of Boardhouse.

Outside is a large garden with ample parking and outdoor storage. There is access at the bottom of the field to free fishing.

This area has plenty of outdoor activities including walking the cliffs of Marwick Head or watching hen harriers at the Birsay Moors RSPB Bird Reserve. You are only a short drive away from some of Orkney's many archaeological sites, Skara Brae, Ring of Brodgar and Maeshowe.

Midhouse is close to a variety of visitor attractions such as:

WWII Military Airfields.

Eynhallow Church.
