Blaencwm Cottages offers charming self catering accommodation in the quaint village of Blaenffos, set in 4 acres of gorgeous grounds on a delightful smallholding. Our cottages near Boncath in Pembrokeshire offer a tranquil rural retreat, boasting stunning views over open fields and the Preseli Hills.

Our two cottages offer everything you need for an idyllic break in a scenic location. Both of the cottages are dog friendly and include lovely, enclosed gardens for your four-legged friend to stretch their legs in. The cottages are beautifully furnished and come with an array of facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We even provide a complementary welcome pack including traditional Welsh cake.

Y Beudy (The Barn): This wonderful ground level property sleeps up to 2 people and comes with a cosy lounge including a roaring log burner, TV/DVD player/Freeview, a radio and CD player. A well-equipped kitchen/dining area is great for cooking a tasty feast and includes a cooker, grill, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.

Next to the kitchen is a shower and toilet room. The bedroom has a king size bed for a peaceful night’s sleep and en suite facilities. A separate sauna in the bedroom completes the luxurious experience. Outside there is a secure walled garden with a patio table, chairs and a BBQ, great for al fresco dining on a sunny day.

T Frenni Fawr (The Big Mountain): This fantastic cottage sleeps 5 people in 3 attractive bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single. A cot is also available. This upside-down house has a large lounge and kitchen/dining room upstairs which enjoys amazing views over the valley and Preseli Hills. Unwind in the lounge after a day in the countryside. Facilities include TV/DVD with Freeview, a radio and CD player.

A well-equipped kitchen has a cooker, grill, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer. The bathroom has a separate bath, shower cubicle and toilet. To the rear of the property is a secure walled garden with a patio table, chairs and BBQ.

Both cottages have use of a separate communal exercise area for dogs.

Our cottages are only 5 miles from Cardigan town and the coast, making us the ideal location for exploring the area. In Cardigan, you can visit its famous castle, enjoy a magical boat trip whilst wildlife spotting or browse the abundance of shops. You’ll find plenty of places to eat and you can catch a film at the cinema. Only a 20-minute drive away are the gorgeous beaches of Poppit Sands and Newport Sands, whilst Mwnt is great for unforgettable dolphin-spotting. Excellent attractions to visit include:
