Learan Farm Cottages offers fabulous self catering accommodation in Rannoch near Pitlochry. Our cottages are based in Perthshire, set in a rather remote but quite special and spectacular location in the very heart of the Highlands.

Imagine the views from your balcony – glorious colour changing as the seasons. Imagine waking up in one of the wonderful, airy, highly acclaimed family friendly stone built cottages – traditional and totally highland at heart – yet wonderfully and tastefully converted – which await you here. Very family friendly, with stunning vistas across Loch Rannoch to Glencoe to the west and Schiehallion to the east. A remarkable situation, remote, stress busting – so activity rich - yet so relaxing – and where you’ll feel more at home, than at home!

Each cottage is tastefully furnished and comes with a range of excellent facilities to suit all your needs. Each cottage includes a living area, fully-equipped kitchen, beautiful bedrooms and a modern bathroom. You can also unwind on the balcony whilst savouring the breathtaking views.

Stewart: sleeps 5 in a double room and a family room with 3 pine single beds.

Wallace: sleeps 5 in a double and a family room with a double and single bed.

Bruce: sleeps 5 in a double room and a family room with 3 pine single beds.

Campbell: sleeps 5 in a double and a family room with pine single beds.

Macgregor: sleeps 4 in a double and a family room with adult-sized bunk beds.

Mackintosh: sleeps 4 in a double and family room with adult-sized bunk beds.

Outdoor pursuits on offer in the vicinity are plentiful and include golfing, rock climbing, hill walking, mountain climbing, white water rafting, canoeing, sailing, wind surfing, cycling and pony trekking. Pitlochiy, Aberfeldy, Blair Atholl, Perth and Inverness are all within easy driving distance.

While you are at Learan Farm you may wish to take the train from Rannoch Station to Fort William or Mallaig. This may easily be reached on the West Highland Railway Line (known as one of the greatest and world's most scenic railway journeys). From Mallaig you can then take the ferry over the sea to Skye, Eigg, Muck, Rum and Canna. Alternatively from Fort William you may wish to take the 'Iron Road to the Isles', that is 'The Jacobite Steam Train' to Mallaig and glimpse Ben Nevis, Britain's highest peak.
