Milton of Fonab Caravan Site is a quiet, family run, caravan park on the south side of Pitlochry next to the River Tummel. We are superbly placed for those wishing to explore Perthshire further.

We have a range of beautiful, modern, static caravan holiday homes set around a green with plenty of open space. Our caravans have 2 or 3 bedrooms and sleep up to 6 people. At Fonab we have 27 modern models measuring up to 38 feet long by 12 feet wide.

Our static caravans are all well spaced out around the perimeter of the park, with space provided alongside each van for car parking. Each holiday home can accommodate six adults in comfort, or offer that extra bit of room for a family with young children in up to three separate bedrooms. The focal point of the lounge in the New Hampton range is a classic stone effect fireplace and hearth that contrasts with the subtle tones of the contemporary colour scheme in the lounge. A large window in all our static vans allows enhanced enjoyment of panoramic view of the Tummel Valley.

All our pitches now have electric hook ups. We are our continuously improving facilities, such as our very modern toilet and shower blocks.

In addition to offering static vans for hire, we have 170 pitches available for touring vans (mobile caravans) and motorhomes. Shower and washroom facilities are available for the use of all our guests. We have limited spaces for small tents only on a first come first served basis.

Dogs are welcome on site but must be kept on a lead.

Our well stocked shop is open from 9am to 9pm every day including Sunday stocking fresh rolls, newspapers, milk and all your basic requirements. We also still sell the very popular "10p mix" sweets. At least 10 sweets in a paper bag for a very affordable 10p. Children may also make their own mixtures - for many visitors this is the first time their children experience going to a shop on their own and many parents enjoy their children being occupied for 15 to 20 minutes trying to choose the right sweets!

Our laundry area, housed in a traditional stone building by the river, has a vintage charm. Facilities consist of 2 washing machines, 2 dryers, a spin dryer, pulleys, iron and ironing board and large sinks for hand washing. All the machines take tokens that are available from the office.

Pitlochry has long had a reputation as one of the finest holiday resorts in Scotland. Almost the exact centre of the country, Pitlochry makes not only an ideal base for a touring holiday but is itself easy to reach, either by road or rail. Pitlochry has many attractions which are all within easy walking distance of Fonab and Mountain Bike hire is available from Escape Route less than a mile away. Pitlochry Hydroelectric Dam and fish ladder, the famous Pitlochry Festival Theatre on the banks of the River Tummel and, a few miles upstream, the Pass of Killiecrankie.

Day trips can be made to Inverness to the North, Oban and Fort William to the West, Braemar and Royal Deeside to the North East and the Trossachs and Loch Katrine to the South West.
