Hafod-y-Blodau is a converted barn that today offers comfortable, dog friendly self catering accommodation. It is located at the top of a hill with wonderful views of the Irfon Valley. The town of Builth Wells is just over 3 miles away. This is the perfect escape for a relaxing holiday in a peaceful setting.

The self catering barn can accommodate 4 people in a twin/double and twin room. Downstairs there is a spacious living room equipped with a TV, DV player and wood burner. It also has French windows that lead onto a terrace. The open/plan kitchen diner includes a cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Outside there is plenty of space for parking and a shed available for storage. The garden has seating, a BBQ and lovely views.

The barn is surrounded by pastureland and plenty of woodland which is ideal for walking, cycling and pony trekking. It is an easy drive to Hay on Wye, the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and the Elan Valley. Nearby Builth Wells is a friendly town with places to eat, a few shops and natural springs.

There are some interesting attractions close to the accommodation including Builth Castle, Erwood Station Gallery and the Llywelyns Monument.
