Saraig is a cosy pet friendly 100 year old holiday home located in a beautiful part of Ross-shire, at Kyle in the Scottish highlands. It is a surprisingly large and spacious cottage that provides a warm and welcoming place for 6 people to stay.

Despite having the comforts of modern living, it still retains an air of history. Standing at the front gate on a windy night with the choppy waters of the loch lit up in the moonlight and the forest rustling behind, it is easy to imagine oneself in a bygone era. Guests at our holiday home will never be short of things to do. For the hill walker there are 22 Munros in the area along with many other smaller, but no less awesome, hills. For the rambler the choice is extensive, ranging from gentle strolls along the Lochside accompanied by the sounds of lapping waves, to hiking through deserted glens, up to hilltop lochans, alongside babbling burns and cascading waterfalls. There are boat trips galore within easy reach from Saraig from seal-spotting to glass-bottomed boat trips. At certain times of the year, there are even whale watching trips.

Fishing is permitted on Loch Duich which is a sea loch and boat hire is available a couple of miles down the loch. Horse riding is available nearby (a couple of miles away) plus horse and carriage rides.
