Ivy House, Quailty Square, Ludlow, Shropshire
The house retains all the charm and character of the Georgian building, whilst the bathrooms and all newly fitted kitchen areas have a modern and sophisticated style. The furnishings and decorations also blend well together with traditional antiques placed alongside more contemporary paintings and objects, giving a truly homely feeling in all the rooms.
The accommodation is over 3 upper floors with an open-plan living and dining room and kitchen on the first floor, directly overlooking the bustling and lively cobbled square in which it is situated. The double bedroom, with en-suite shower, as well as the separate family shower room is on the floor above. A further twin-bedded room occupies the third floor, with lovely views looking out towards the Welsh Marches.
Immediately outside the property are some of Ludlows most popular eating places, providing the area with a very continental character particularly in the warmer weather when cafe tables are placed around the sides of Quality Square with large umbrellas, perfect for summers evening eating and drinking. The total charming combination provides an ideal place for any discerning travellers, looking to sample some of Ludlows famous gourmet delights, to stay and enjoy for a week or just a few days. Due to the accommodation being placed over 4 levels it is regrettably not considered suitable for the disabled, very elderly or young children.
Ivy House accommodates a maximum of 4 persons. The house has been awarded a 5 star rating by Shropshire Tourism.
