The Castle Hotel is charming Shropshire hotel located in Bishops Castle. We are surrounded on all sides by the beautiful South Shropshire Hills, the Welsh borders and in great walking countryside.

We have twelve lovely bedrooms, all en suite and TV. We have modern facilities, contemporary design and all suffused with that “away from it all” feeling. Some bedrooms have lovely views of the town and the surrounding hills and others look out over the fabulous hotel gardens. We have double rooms, master rooms, family rooms, twin rooms and single rooms. They are all on the first or second floor and are reached from a fine Georgian staircase.

At The Castle, but we certainly use many of the same local suppliers. We’re spoilt for them actually. What we aim to produce is modern, good pub food that is healthy, hearty, flavoursome and fresh.

You will never be short of things to do in Shropshire during your stay at The Castle Hotel. Whether it be one of the more energetic activities such as cycling or hill walking or just a lazy stroll around the ancient cobbled streets of Bishops Castle, this lovely and unspoilt area offers something for everyone.
