Chapel Cottage offers charming self catering accommodation, nestled in a rural setting in the centre of the village of Exford. Based in a tranquil Somerset setting, we are in the ideal location for exploring Exmoor National Park and the stunning Devon coastline.

Our cosy cottage is beautifully furnished and great for a relaxing getaway in a brilliant location. Unwind in the cosy lounge that has a high-definition digital TV, DVD player, games and a log-burning stove. The kitchen is open plan and fully equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave, a radio/CD player and plenty of crockery, glasses etc. The dining area opens onto a spacious patio area.

The spacious bedrooms include one double room on the first floor (with a super king-size bed) and one twin/double room on the top floor. The twin can also be made as a double. A sofa bed is provided as well to sleep 6. A large bathroom with a shower over bath is on the first floor, whilst a large ground floor shower room is also available.

Outside there is a patio area with a table, chairs and BBQ for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

The pet friendly cottage is located in the heart of the Exmoor National Park making this the ideal location for walking, cycling and riding. You can also get a guided tour of Exmoor in a Land Rover. If you want to venture further then the village of Dunster is worth a visit as it has a castle, wonderful woodlands and a falconry.

Any number of splendid gardens, such as Heddon Hall, Castle Hill and Hestercombe, are just a short drive away. For the more active, try fishing, sailing or other water sports Wimbleball Lake, near Dulverton.
